More importantly, it helps the users decrease the extra cost of converter.
 
The 220V small AC Compressor can be used in a variety of small stationary applications, like clothes dryers, small water chillers, dehumidifiers, and other commercial refrigeration systems.

Small AC Compressor Drive Controller Technology

The 220V AC Small Refrigeration Compressor from Moir Cooling stands for the features of Ultra-compact, exceptional cooling performance, and highly reliable cooling solutions for various vapor compression refrigeration systems.
 
The small ac refrigeration compressors, powered by an advanced and efficient drive board, is no bigger than a 250ml drink can and weighs only 830 grams. Under standard ASHRAE conditions, it offers extraordinary cooling power up to 450W, by using a single-cylinder configuration. The new small refrigerator compressor reduces a significant noise level of 45dB(A) on average and 40% in overall energy consumption compared to traditional fixed-speed compressors. It achieves this by using a high-efficiency available speed (BLDC) motor and sine wave control algorithms.  
 
MOIR’s small refrigeration compressor, coupled with the patented drive controller, is a breakthrough technology that could be utilized not only in home appliances but also for example in industrial devices to provide heat and refrigeration. Moreover, it is compatible with AC power for in-house use and DC power for vehicles.  
 
The compressor controller adopts FOC ( Field Oriented Control) 180° control method. Automatic torque compensation function makes compressor operation more stable, with 220V input power supply. The user can integrate the compressor-based refrigeration system with their software via the UART communication of the drive controller interface, providing variable speed and load following capability for precise temperature control and high efficiency.

How Compressor Works in a Compact Refrigeration System?

In a compact refrigeration system, it consists of four key components, including a compressor, condenser, capillary or expansion valve, and evaporator. The compressor plays a crucial role, often referred to as the heart of the refrigeration system, powering the refrigeration circulation.
 
In a refrigeration cycle, the compressor has two main functions:
 
Pumping Refrigerant Vapor: The compressor pumps refrigerant vapor from the evaporator, maintaining the desired temperature and pressure in the evaporator.
 
Increasing Pressure and Temperature: Through the process of compression, the compressor increases the pressure of the refrigerant vapor, simultaneously increasing its temperature. This change in pressure allows the superheated refrigerant to flow through the system.
 
The refrigeration system are now being developed for a wide rang of commercial and industrial applications where space and lightweight are key parameters.  The development of the small compressor has addressed what was formerly the main to using compressor cooling system in highly integrated, small form factor system.
