With its rapid growth of HVAC systems and components in domestic market in China, Moir Cooling opened its doors in 2021 as a new brand for the overseas market, intending to extend its market with the ambition to earn global recognition for its best-in-class, China-made miniature rotary compressors, and small-scale vapor compression refrigeration solutions.
With the aim to deliver our customers a competitive advantage in thermal management applications, Moir Cooling designs and manufactures a broad portfolio of high-efficiency, variable-speed BLDC compressors, and optimized thermal solutions that integrate directly into their devices to minimize weight, footprint, and costs. They are used across a variety of industries including Medical, Laser, EV batteries, Beverage cooling, and other precise instruments.
Why was Moir Cooling born?

What We Do?
# Miniature, BLDC, variable speed refrigerated rotary compressor
Moir offers a series of mini compressors, single cylinder, twin cylinder, vertical configuration, horizontal configuration, DC and AC power supplies available, with cooling capacities ranging from 100 to 1,000W under standard ASHRAE conditions using an advanced inverter brushless motor controller. These miniature compressors are exceptionally compact and achieve extraordinary power density.
# Small-scale cooling systems with use of mini rotary compressor
The compressor cooling systems uses refrigerant phase change to efficiently cool heat source to temperature below the surrounding ambient air, which is the same tech applied in your home refrigerator to make the inside of your refrigerator colder than the room it sits in. They consist of four major components of compressor, condenser, capillary, and evaporator.
MOIR’s cooling systems are innovative, compact, precise control, and high efficiency solutions with use of our miniature rotary compressors. They are designed to manage and control temperatures in a variety of applications where conventional cooling methods may be impractical or insufficient. MOIR’s compact cooling systems can be configured in three major categories as below.
1. Liquid-chilled system
The liquid cooling system uses a secondary coolant to enable the size of heat exchangers to shrink, while thermal performance increases. The fluid coolant is normally a mixture of water and antifreeze which is pumped through a closed-loop system.
2. Air-chilled system
The air cooling system ( air circulating system) uses recirculated air in a sealed environment as the cooling mechanism. It removes heat and humidity from the air which is circulated through a closed loop to cool the heat source.
3. Direct refrigerant system (DC condensing unit)
The DC condensing unit eliminates the use of a secondary coolant, instead the refrigerant absorbs heat directly at the heat source through a contact heat exchanger (cold plate). This minimizes the size and component count of the system yet delivers the highest heat transfer rates. It is a much smaller, lighter, and more compact system with higher reliability and longer MTBF due to the elimination of the liquid pump and the secondary liquid loop.
